Christian's 2003 Cobra is one of the 10th Anniversary
Editions, born on 07/18/2003
It's Cobra #7962 of 8394 , 10th AE #1461 of 2003 & 1 out of 257 Black 10th AE
Cobra's.
Originally he was going to do a few supsension mods and be happy, but then the
HP bug got him. In his words "you can never have too much power." On a Dynojet
dynoometer the car put down 580rwhp/560tq with a safe A/F ratio. Obviously it's
not stock under the hood (sunglasses required when looking there) The main
modifications include a polished Whipplecharger running at 17lbs, upgraded fuel
system, full suspension (kmember, a-arms, coil overs, etc), transmission
upgrades, brakes, SSR wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KDW2 rubber and just about
every bolt on part you can find. Tuning was originally done by Mike Murillo but
was finished by Corey Henderson in New Braunfels.
At one of the recent Hooters car shows it won the managers pick award.
Christian was really surprised since there were so many cars there and his is a
true daily driver with all the rock chips to prove it.
It's a great looking well rounded Cobra, runs very well, and has been
completely reliable and has handling, stopping, cornering
as well as straight line performance.
